We, at SMJPS, understand that quality education has the power to provide children with the knowledge, skills and confidence to reach their full potential. For more than four decades in the service of education, SMJPS has touched pinnacles of success and achievements. Through our rigorous scholastic and co-scholastic programmes, we seek to develop and nurture the different facets of a child by providing a clean and well organized environment that is conducive to learning. We understand that the use of modern teaching methodology, latest equipment and digital media can go a long way towards the personal growth and the professional success of the students. Giving students access to powerful educational tools and facilities such as computers, digital classrooms, laboratories and libraries deepens their knowledge and further improves their logical and cognitive skills. An effective school is a place where students feel safe, both physically and emotionally. Our community of teachers in collaboration with the supportive management focuses on better learning environment. Instead of serving punishment as a means to discipline the students we focus on preventing student misbehavior through regular counseling and moral lessons. Thus, by fostering a conducive environment full of love, care and creativity, we instill in our children a desire to learn with emphasis on their social, emotional, physical, aesthetic and intellectual developmental aspects. What Martin Luther King Jr. had said about education half a century ago, still holds relevance: “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education”.
